OLSON MOLE SONG
Mr. Olson and Mr. Washington have created a very interesting mole song to help us remember how to use moles. It is 6.022 X 10^23.

Future Of Stop Lights
Chemistry
Chemistry is getting a bit easier and a bit more complicated. i am starting to understand the old stuff but the new stuff such as tetrahedral and the electronegativity between the atoms is a bit confusing. It is hard to picture the atoms bonding in all the different ways they can.

chemistry poem
well it's nineteen hundred and ninety nine and all of the students are feeling just fine.
They all signed up, the lads and lasses and found themselves in chemistry classes.

Radiation
This week we learned about radiation. It is quite hard. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma really confuse me. It is not good to stand in front of a microwave. Hopefully, I will start to understand. If you are reading this Mr. Olson, I will need a bit more help with Chapter 19. I need more review and more examples in order to understand how to calculate what happens when radiation hits atoms.

Waterpolo and Chemistry
One of my main passions is waterpolo. It is a great physical sport. I play Mills Varsity Waterpolo. As of now, I play goalie for my team because we only have 7 eligible players to play. The rest of the players will be eligible by next thursday. We have not won one game yet and hopefully we will win tomorow against Carlmont. One thing about waterpolo that really bugs me is that every tuesday and thursday I have to leave school for my games. This causes me to miss out on chemistry class. I am now really falling behind in chemistry and i feel I have less of an understanding than the rest of the class.

Conversion Factor
conversion factor is very useful to help find out problems such as finding the amount of minutes in a year or vise versa. By cancelling out the top and bottom units you can multiply all the numerators easily. Conversion Factor is a great skill to know if you want to easily convert a unit to another unit both ways.

labs!
Labs are the best part of chemistry. In labs, you get to go hands on with learning chemistry. It is a lot funner than going through books and books just to learn. With labs, you get to really learn your craft while having some fun. Although fun, you must also be careful when doing labs to not break glass, wearing goggles, and being weary of your surroundings.

PENNY LAB!
The penny lab was a great learning experience. The first time my penny melted because I expected it to turn gold immediately. Eventually, I learned that it turns gold through a reaction of putting the penny into the water. It turned out a great success as my penny was the best in my groups. It was very cool learning about chemical reactions. I want to do more!
GOALS AND PASSIONS
The main goal I have in life is to become rich. I want to be an entrepeneur. The way I will get there is following my passions. I love sports, new things, and learning new things. I would like to have a family of my own. I want to train my SON that I will have to become the star player on every sports team. I will become rich because I just know it. It will take hard work but I will reach my goals.
